The Chalk Talk series began with a spark of inspiration. It all started when Jonathan Vassil, Tidemark Fellow and Chief Revenue Officer at Toast, joined us for a roundtable discussion. Jonathan, one of the most data-driven and fast-learning sales leaders we know, shared his experience in rapidly scaling a direct sales force at Toast. His approach – rooted in analytics and reference-based strategies – resonated deeply with the audience. The conversation was so insightful and engaging that we knew we had to make it more than just a one-time event. And so, Tidemark's GTM Chalk Talk series was born.

Since that initial session, the series has evolved. While Jonathan continues to share his invaluable perspectives, we’ve expanded Chalk Talk to feature more leaders across sales and marketing.
